David Leskar:   David is an attorney with over 23 years of real estate experience and partner in the law firm of Shepard & Leskar, P.A.. David is also the President of Buyer’s Title, Inc., both companies being based in Plantation. He is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University and Nova University Law School. Married to Cheryl Hills, they have two children, Pamela and Joshua, both of who attend the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. They have resided at 451 West Lake Dasha Drive (better known as the two story gray stone house that used to have the big numbers 451 on the garage) since 1995 and David has served on the Board of Directors for the past eleven (11) years in the capacity of Secretary, Treasurer and has served as President for the past three and one-half years. David’s vision for the future of the Association is to provide a safe and secure community, to increase property values through maintenance and improvement of properties and common areas, to fight the proposed re-zoning of the Jacaranda Golf course and to bring members closer together by getting people involved and creating friendships among members of the Association.

Elliot Zimmerman:   Elliot created and presently serves as Webmaster for both our website at http://jcchoa.com and our listserve. He is a Board Certified Intellectual Property Lawyer with over 27 years experience practicing entertainment law, cyberlaw, tort law, insurance law and litigation (see http://cyberlaw.info). He earned his B.B.A. Cum Laude from the City College of New York in 1976, and graduated Yeshiva Law School with a J.D. in 1979. He is founder and Chair Emeritus of the Florida Bar Entertainment, Arts and Sports Law Section (see http://easl.info). Elliot is a published legal author, a computer programmer, and musician (keyboards) who has recorded and performed with The Ink Spots, Jaco Pastorius, Sonny Stitt, and other notables. He currently serves as President of CannibalMusic.com, Inc. at http://cannibalmusic.com which owns and operates http://MusiciansExchangeOnline.com, an internet music distribution website for emerging artists. Elliot, his wife Cindy, who is the Librarian/Media Specialist at Nova Eisenhower Elementary School (see http://cyberlibrary.us), and his two sons, Jake (presently attending UCF) and Max (presently attending Nova High School), moved to Jacaranda Country Club in 1999. His vision for our neighborhood is to enhance community communication through 21st century technology, to increase property values by encouraging owner maintenance and improvement with an eye towards keeping annual assessments from rising, and, to raise community spirit through planned events and informal get togethers.

Michael Sebero:   Michael is President of MS Global Logistics, an importer of specialty fruits and vegetables from all South American countries and Mexico. Michael has over 25 years of experience in the produce import industry. A native of Wisconsin, Michael moved to Plantation 14 years ago and to the Jacaranda Country Club area approximately 8 years ago. Michael and his wife, Amy, reside at 8714 Mahogany Avenue and have two dogs, Randy and Emily, as well as an African Grey Parrot named Merlin. Michael also enjoys flying helicopters as a hobby. Michael’s vision is to continue to encourage all members of the Association to become involved in further beautifying the community and developing better relationships with all members of our community. Michael has been in charge of and has been largely responsible for the great picnics we have each October and will be spearheading the front entrance beautification project this year.

Gregg Lewis:   Gregg is President of Lewis Associates, a promotional marketing agency which he founded in 1982. Following graduation from the University of North Carolina, he held sales and marketing positions at several major corporations. Gregg relocated to South Florida in 1979 and moved to the Jacaranda Country Club in 1990. He has one son who lived in Jacaranda with him in the late 90s. Gregg supports the board’s general visions of providing a safe and secure community, and enhancing unity through getting people more involved in the Association. Gregg is a current member of the Board and has been instrumental in working with the City of Plantation in getting contributions from the City for our front entrance beautification project.

Gregg Young:   Gregg is the Vice President of Sales for Associated Grocers of Florida. He is responsible for the domestic sales of the food wholesaler who services the retail supermarket trade in the state of Florida. Gregg has been associated with the food distribution/retail industry for over 25 years. He is a graduate of Buffalo State University and has been a South Florida resident for 15 years. Gregg, his wife Kim, two sons Daniel and Matthew and his daughter Erika, reside at 8561 N. Lake Dasha Dr. Gregg’s vision for Jacaranda Country Club is to preserve the family environment and strengthen the value of our properties stressing the importance of common area maintenance and impressing upon our homeowners that it is all of our responsibility to maintain our property and respect the property of our neighbor.
